| General view of the launch area. Camp Far West is an amazing 5-day event. It is on private land at the remote end of a mile long peninsular. They serve a great English type breakfast of bacon and eggs, sausages, hot cakes and coffee. You can fly from dawn to dusk, and then switch to night flying. |

| Bringing the one third scale Cub back on land. This one is a Super Cub (fully cowled, larger engine) and shows its independence by not conforming to the famous Cub yellow. Once the Cub was the most popular full size plane for instruction, and for private flying. Here it is the most popular float plane at Camp Far West. |

| If you don't care what your friends think you can build and fly this Depron sheet foam contraption called the Capricorn. This one belongs to Mike Brown, our former California AMA VP, who has organized many float flys at Red Bluff. This is not his usual style of airplane, but he entertained the crowds with its amazing slow flight and maneuverability. |

| The Ultra Stick is an easy to fly aerobatic plane, typically 46 powered, although some were electric. It works great as a float plane. | Here goes another Ultra Stick |
