SAM 27 maintains a flying field

There is a very short runway with a safety fence, suitable only for Old Timers and very slow flying models. Its purpose is the safe takeoff and landing when the surrounding area is newly ploughed, deep in mud or otherwise unusable.

Core Values

The love of building, craftsmanship and the subsequent flying of models are the core values of SAM 27. When a new member first enters an open SAM contest with a model of his own construction he receives  the "Builder of the Model, SAM Competitor" award. This recognizes  his status as an Old Time builder and flyer.
